Strength in The Lord

"...Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10B

Psalm 119:11 says "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." When scriptures are memorized, it's easy to recall what God's word says about a particular situation. When your emotions are under attack, reflect on Nehemiah 8:10 because God's promises always come to pass. Happy Monday!

Matthew 11: New Bible App!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

These are a few of my favorite verses. Recently, I have been challenging myself to memorize more scriptures. It's much more effective to quote scripture versus saying "I know there's a scripture that talks about..." which I'm guilty of haha

Here's a screenshot from the app
But I found an app that solves this problem! Yay! It's called Bible Minded. Try it out! Happy Tuesday :)
