Become Greater

"And David became greater and greater, for the LORD, the God of hosts, was with him." 2 Samuel 5:10

At this point, David is conquering territories and proving his doubters wrong. Verse 10 is a great because we can apply this directly to our lives. When God has anointed us to do something and we walk in that calling, he will bless and establish our territory. So, go ahead and insert your name in the verse. You have been chosen for such a time in this. Step out on faith and do what God has called you to do! Happy Friday!

A New Perspective

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God." Deuteronomy 28:1-2
Happy Tuesday! I was at a conference over the weekend where networking and gathering information was the goal. The more knowledge and understanding I received, the more discouraged I became. I started to think, "Wow, these people have it all together, and I'm completely unqualified in this area..." The Lord reminded me that networking and building your personal brand is good, but He has the final say. He opens doors, windows, and ceilings that no man could ever shut. If we are faithful with our portion and obedient to His word, we have nothing to worry about!

Noah Type Faith

"It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith." Hebrews 11:7

How many people thought Noah was crazy for building an ark when not a drop of rain had fallen? When God calls us to do something, everyone will not understand. Why? Because family members, "friends", and peers were not given the vision/ instruction that you were. Don't allow naysayers and negative people determine your faith walk with Christ!

Speaking of preparedness, let's come together to pray for those who are greatly affected by the snow/ice storm. I can't imagine being forced to sleep in schools, department stores, or on the side of the road! Stay warm!

My friend posted this picture of the bread aisle in South Carolina when the forecast called for snow, even though the current temp was 60 degrees!
